Frīdmanis is an experienced executive who, as a representative of the private partner AS Ķekava ABT, is responsible for the implementation of the first large-scale public–private partnership project in the Baltic road sector: the Ķekava bypass.

Previously, he served as finance and development director at SIA Binders and as finance director at AS Diena.
“I am pleased to join the Nordes Būve team at a time when the company is strengthening its capacity and entering a new phase of development. Significant national contracts are expected to be concluded soon, including the open tender ‘Modernisation and Development of the Electrified Railway Network: Construction,’ which will grant the right to modernise the railway electrification system, as well as the procurement procedure organized by VAS Valsts nekustamie īpašumi for the construction of the Latvian–Russian border fence. The high-quality and timely implementation of these projects will be among my key priorities,” emphasises Frīdmanis.

Nordes Būve has already earned the trust of its clients by delivering ambitious construction projects both as a general contractor and as part of supplier consortia. Notable projects include the development and construction of Rail Baltica, city centre infrastructure of European significance; the redevelopment of Uzvaras Park at 15 Uzvaras Boulevard in Riga; and the reconstruction of the historic Riga Circus building.
The company is currently implementing several projects, including the reconstruction and adaptation of the office building at 8/10 Pils Street in Riga for the needs of the Estonian Embassy.

SIA Nordes Būve operates as a general contractor for complex construction projects and provides full-cycle services – from concept development and design to construction and commissioning.

Founded in 2016, SIA Nordes Būve is wholly owned by the German investment management company BIH – Baltische Industrieholding GmbH, which is owned by German investor Konstantin Panovko.

“My family has close ties both to the construction industry and to Latvia, making our investment here both a rational and a personal decision. Until now, our investments have focused on real estate; however, we are now expanding into construction companies and technologies. Nordes Būve’s ambition is to become a leading force in Latvia’s construction sector by introducing innovation and sustainable construction principles,” says Panovko.
